Brother James Reeves' birthday is the 2nd of May. He attended Canoga Park High School and was initiated into the Phi Delta Psi Fraternity in the Spring of 1960. He served our Brotherhood as Treasurer of the Beta Chapter.
After finishing his studies at Pierce College, Jim transferred to the University of California Los Angeles where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Jim worked for many years as an engineer for Hughes Corporation.
Sue Reeves, Jim's wife is the only employee of the Los Angeles Businesspersons Organization. She is an avid golfer (Jim adds, "and hopefully me.") She works mostly at home and goes into the city for meeting two or three times a month.
Jim and Sue's son Marc will become a Catholic priest in the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) in 2005. In 2004 Marc studies at Weston College on the campus of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He holds a Master of Arts degree and just finished a year of study in Rome.
Brother Jim Reeves is retired, but works as a substitute teacher for the Conejo Valley Unified School District and private schools near his home. He also tutors high school students in math. Jim enjoys wilderness hiking, mostly near the Mammoth Lakes. He likes to capture great compositions in his photographs on his hiking and travel adventures. Jim is also an avid reader, taking on at least two to three books a month.
