A THANK YOU NOTE FOR THE MAPLE LEAF SCHOLARSHIP AT MOORPARK COLLEGE

Here's a note from the President of Moorpark College, in response to a scholarship given to the school from The Maple Leaf Endowment Fund. Moorpark College was the home of our Phi Delta Psi Detinu Vidal Chapter.

"Dear Friends of Moorpark College,
Thank you for supporting students through the Moorpark College Foundation's Scholarship program in 2007. Your donation helped students move forward to a bright future and many happy years to come.
Eva Conrad Moorpark College President"

This year's Maple Leaf Endowment check to Moorpark was earmarked for a student returning to college after service in Iraq or Afghanistan. This was done in honor of our Founders Don Taggart and Grady Talbot who began our Brotherhood after returning from service in the US Marine Corps in the Korean Conflict. The scholar will be selected under the auspice of Dr. Francis Bianchino.
