Greetings From Panorama City San Fernando Valley - Postcards collection of The Museum of the San Fernando Valley - gift of Gary Fredburg - 2008
In the distance is the Newhall Pass toward Palmdale and Canyon Country. To the left is a 5 story building with a sign Western Savings. (I think this may have originally been a Valley Federal Savings Building) Br. Joe Ells had an insurance business in this structure. Several Brothers may have worked here when it was Valley Federal. Br. Rod Davis' parents owned two small clothing shops near the Savings and Loan building. I worked at a Hughes market on the other side of Bullocks.
