Ted Quillin - Disk Jockey - Photo in the Archives of The Museum of the San Fernando Valley - 2008 - Gift of Gerald Fecht (click on picture to enlarge)Hired to be a guest-speaker for a Phi Delta Psi "smoker", Ted Quillin became friends with Brothers Jerry Cipperly and Craig Pinkard. He was initiated as an Honorary Brother and took the honor very seriously. Ted is to this day beloved by the alumni of the Fraternity.
This photo was taken at Los Angeles Valley College. Phi Delts, who held the majority vote on the Student Council brought Ted to perform on campus. We also secured an on-campus concert by Louis Armstrong and Velma Middleton.
Ted still does a gig now in then in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he lives.
