James Magouirk founded the Phi Delta Psi Fraternity, with twelve other students from Los Angeles Valley and Pierce Colleges, on the 13th of October, 1956. Much of the Fraternity's early success was due to his dedication and energy.
Founder Maqouirk attended the University of Southern California briefly after his graduation from Valley College, where he majored in pre-dentistry. Unfortunately his father died and he could no longer afford his studies at USC. Jim transferred to California State University Northridge where he studied business and accounting.
Jim describes his work with Remax-Olson Realty in the following terms: "I have had much success in selling Southern California Real Estate. My experience spreads from multi-million dollar estates to entry-level homes to condos. I have a vast network base in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, Simi and Conejo Valleys, plus Hollywood Hills, Malibu, and Northridge of course. My knowledge base spreads over commercial and development ventures as well. My degree in finance with a major in accounting puts me ahead of all the rest. I am committed to the highest standards of client service. I have been a consistent top producer for over 25 years in the real estate market."
Jim and his wife Katharine E. Baker Magourik have five sons.
