Joe Sutter at the memorial of Art Arocha - April 2010.Brother Joe Sutter graduated from South Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona. He was initiated into the Phi Delta Psi Fraternity in the Spring of 1960. He served in the United States Army Reserves for six months and in a Reserve unit for three and a half years.
After finishing his studies at Pierce College, Joe earned a Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University. He and his former wife Irene share three children; Joseph, Tracy and Dana.
In 2004, Joe is retired from his career as an x-ray technician manager. His wife Pat will retire next year from her position in public affairs for the Motion Picture Hospital. Joe still likes to party, goes to car shows (he belongs to a '57 Chevy car club) and travel. He runs his son's lemon ranch in Southern California.
