a GOOGLE search your name came up in relation to a blog entry about
William Lee Westmyer. I am hoping you might be able to give me some
more information about where he worked during his law enforcement
career, or any family contact
information. Unfortunately we had someone discover an urn with ashes
belonging to a William Lee Westmyer in a dumpster last night. They
turned them over to our department (Garden City Police – Idaho). It
lists William’s name, and birthday (born in 1939).
Any information you can provide would be helpful. Thanks, and feel

I was able to get in contact with his ex wife (or fiancé). She said she was with him when he passed. According to her she had people helping her move, and had no idea this occurred. She apologized profusely and said she is planning on organizing a family outing to spread his ashes.
